1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Countiful, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services. We may modify these terms at any time, and your continued use after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
2. Description of Service
Countiful is a habit tracking application available on iOS, Mac, Android, and web platforms. We provide tools to track time-based milestones, set goals, receive reminders, and monitor personal progress. Core features are available free of charge.
3. User Accounts
You may use Countiful without creating an account, with data stored locally on your device. To enable cloud sync and cross-device access, you must create an account with a valid email address or sign in with Google or Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
4. Your Content
You retain ownership of all content you create within Countiful, including counters, goals, and notes. By using our service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit this content solely to provide the service to you. You are responsible for your content and ensuring it does not violate any laws or third-party rights.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Countiful for any unlawful purpose, to attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts, to transmit malware or harmful code, to interfere with the proper operation of the service, or to engage in any activity that could damage, disable, or impair our infrastructure.
6. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability and reliability, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access to Countiful. The service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to circumstances beyond our control. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time without prior notice.
7. Account Termination
You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon deletion, your account will be permanently deactivated and your personal data will be deleted from our servers within 30 days. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Countiful and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. You use Countiful at your own risk.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Romania. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Bucharest, Romania. If you are an EU consumer, you retain any mandatory rights under your local consumer protection laws.
